The 24th annual CUNY Conference on Human Sentence Processing, to be held March 24-26, 2011, will feature a special session on «The Role of Processing in Language Variation and Change».  One purpose of this special session is to promote dialogue between sociolinguists and psycholinguists, who often study the same phenomena from rather different perspectives. I urge all of you on the NWAV mailing list to give serious consideration to submitting abstracts and coming to the CUNY conference.
